The miniature and toy poodles are very playful dogs that need to be exercised daily. They are should go for a walk at least 2 times per day for 30 minutes. They also enjoy longer walks that could be one hour long.
If you like sports, this breed could be for you. Miniature and toy poodles adapt easily to the lifestyle of their owners. If they are properly engaged from an early age they would be more than happy to join you while you exercise. You should however try to keep intense exercise sessions to a maximum of 30 minutes. Miniature and toy poodles also love the mountain walks and really enjoy swimming.
Regarding the weather conditions, it is recommended to avoid high temperatures. They will feel much more comfortable in situations of mild or lower temperature environments due to their coat.
