Electronic receipts with 11pets: Groomer

With the Groomer Plus plan of 11pets: Groomer you can create electronic receipts and invoices for the purchases of your customers through the platform. You will be able to then send the receipt/invoice to the customer through SMS, WhatsApp or email. You customer will be able to download his/her receipt or invoice in the form of a PDF document.

The process is simple and intuitive:

  • Register the purchases of your customers which and be with or without a grooming session
  • Create an electronic receipt with the click of a button as explained in the sections that follow
  • Send the receipt to your customer with a simple and customizable message
  • You customer will receive his/her receipt as a PDF document

All the invoices you generate are stored in your account and you can access them at any time. You can also download all the data of your invoicing as an Excel document which will help you to monitor your business in detail.

In order to create receipts and be send them to your customers, you first need to setup few parameters. These are the Invoicing Profile and the Tax settings which are explained in different posts.

Generate an electronic receipt for a grooming session

When a grooming session is completed you can create a receipt and also include the products the customer bought. We have a detailed post that explains how to add these products and services. This tutorial focuses on how to create the receipt and send it to the customer. To do that, follow the next steps:

  • Find and open the appointment for which you want to create the receipt
  • Go to the “Pet Delivered” tab
  • Add the grooming service and the products the customer bought
  • Tap on “Generate Receipt” to create the receipt
  • After the receipt is created, tap on “Send receipt” to send receipt to the customer
  • Use the preset template to personalize the message
  • Select if you want to send the receipt by SMS, WhatsApp or email

Your customers also purchase products directly, that is, not only when they have a grooming session. We have a different post that explains how to track the purchases for direct sales. In this tutorial, we will focus on how to generate electronic receipts for these direct sales and send them to the customer. For it, you would need to go through the following steps:

  • Find and open the direct sale for which you want to generate the electronic receipt
  • Tap on “Generate Receipt” from the to create the electronic receipt
  • After the receipt is created, tap on “Send receipt” to send receipt to the customer
  • Use the preset template to personalize the message
  • Select if you want to send the receipt by SMS, WhatsApp or email
