The 11pets applications include reminders for every task related to caring for your pets. These cover preventive treatment (e.g. deworming, vaccinations), hygiene care, medications etc.
In addition to the build-in tasks, you can program your own tasks and reminders through the “Schedule” menu which you can access from the main screen of the application.
Add your own custom task
To add your own custom task, tap the “+” button located at the bottom right part of the screen.
The first step is to define the pet. To do that, tap on the “Select from list” area and then select the pet for which you want to add the custom task.
To add a custom task for a category that does not already exist, select the “Other” type.
Define the name of the task and also give a description. Next, define the date and time of this task. Finally, if this task is related to a professional (for example a visit of a veterinarian), you can also tap on the “Contact Information” field and select the relevant entry.
Tap the save button at the top right part of your screen to save this task. The application will add the corresponding entry in your schedule and will remind you on time.
Periodic custom tasks
Sometimes it is useful for these custom tasks to be periodic. As an example, assume that a pet, has 3 visits to the vet, every other day, in order to follow-up on a severe infection. You will see this option if you have the 11pets: Adopt app or the Productivity Plan of the 11pets: Pet Care app (if you do not, just upgrade to the Productivity Plan now to enjoy 10 additional pet-care features).
To add a periodic task, define your task as repetitive.
Then define the details of the repetition. In our example, we want this task to be every two days and repeat 3 times. In this case, as the task regards a visit to a vet, we also include the contact information of the clinic.
When you are done, simply save the task by tapping on the “OK” button at the top right corner. The app will remind you for each iteration of this periodic task.
